----------------------------------------------------------------------- Why should I use Scoop Doodie? Dog waste is unsightly, unhealthy, and smelly, yet it's an unavoidable part of dog ownership. It can carry disease and it's a nuisance to you, your family, and your neighbors. Scoop Doodie ensures that your yard is healthy and free of accumulated dog waste year ‘round . We visit your home on a prescheduled day. We scoop your yard, double bag the waste, and place it in your trash can. We'll notify you if we see anything abnormal in your dog's stool that may be cause for concern (for example, worms, foreign objects, or loose stool). For your pet(s) and family's protection we use veterinarian-approved disinfectants to clean our equipment and shoes prior to and after each service. We currently service Placer County and portions of Sacramento County . Although no long term contract is necessary, we do ask that you sign a statement that: Is there an initial service fee? There may be supplemental fee for the first service if there is an excessive accumulation of waste. This will be discussed with you before service is rendered. Can my dog be in the yard while you're scooping? Yes. We enjoy interacting with dogs; however, there are cases when a dog will not let our worker perform services. If you know that your dog is not good with strangers, or it becomes apparent that your dog will not allow us to service your property, then we ask that you restrain or confine the dog while we service your property. We don't want to take unnecessary risks with your dog or our employees. Yes. Please have your gate unlocked on your service day. Our employees won't climb or jump over fences. You may provide us with a key to the lock or provide us with a combination if that is convenient for you. We're insured and acknowledge responsibilities associated with entering your property. Can I schedule service for a certain day? If the dog will be gone from the yard for a couple of weeks, or for some other reason you want us to skip your yard, we can hold service and you will not be charged for those days. However, if excessive dog waste accumulates during skipped days, you may be charged extra when service resumes. Are you insured?
